Valley of the Sun Romance Writers (VOSRWA) is the last Romance Writers of America chapter in Arizona. We welcome writers from other genres as well. We have members that write young adult, mystery, science fiction, and fantasy. Our members come from many cities, including Phoenix, Tucson, Prescott, Glendale, Scottsdale, Surprise, Peoria, Tempe, Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert, Buckeye, and more!
We help writers from bud to bloom, featuring programs for authors on every step of their journey through online write-ins, mentorship programs, speakers on a wide variety of topics, contests, workshops, and writer’s retreats.

We represent several decades of many author organizations combined into one group. In 2020, the Valley of the Sun Romance Writers merged with Desert Rose Romance Writers to become a unified Valley of the Sun RWA. Another chapter joined the fold in 2021 when the Tucson Saguaro Romance Writers merged with us as well. Now we represent authors throughout the entire state of Arizona!
